If you have used bookkeeping in your job or if you have studied basic bookkeeping qualifications and wish to improve your employment opportunities this course would be appropriate for you. Because the course moves at a fast pace it is not recommended for students who have not studied any accounting before, unless they are working in the sector. You will study the following five topics: Bookkeeping transactions Book-keeping controls Elements of costing Working effectively in finance Using accounting software The work will be mainly teacher directed, and you will have the opportunity to complete lots of practice activities.
