This BSL qualification is designed to teach learners to communicate with Deaf people in British Sign Language on a range to topics that involve simple, everyday language use. This fast-track course means you will be expected to do additional homework regularly, after each session to maximize your chances of success; there will be three exams during the course to assess your learning. We also strongly encourage you to practice your BSL skills outside the classroom with friends, relatives and/or other fellow learners. The topics covered on the full level 1 qualification are: meeting & describing people, using numbers, the weather, directions, transports, animals & objects, locations/destinations, time, money and hobbies & interests.
