GCE A Level in Physics A

UPDATED 20161010 11:12:45

We are born with a curiosity to understand the world around us. To ask questions such as “How did the universe begin?” “How does the sun keep shining?” and “How do mobile phones work?” If you find that the more answers you discover the more questions that you want to ask, then you are on your way to being a physicist. As well as being concerned with deep fundamental questions, physics forms the basis for much of present and future technology. For example, when CD players were developed, it was crucial that the physics of lasers and the interaction of light with matter were well understood. This in turn depended on an understanding of atomic and quantum physics.
