Summary: This full time English course is aimed at 16-18 year olds to improve reading, writing, speaking & listening skills. Course description: This English (ESOL) course will develop your speaking, listening, reading, writing & grammar skills. You will take part in a range of activities covering different subjects such as health, sport, hobbies, transport and jobs as well as trips to develop your language skills. In past years trips have included Whitlingham Broad, the cinema and Pleasurewood Hills. We have a range of levels available. The right level for you will be assessed as part of the interview process. You will also develop computer skills and study Functional Skills maths at a level which is suitable to you. The course helps you to get used to college life and living in the UK. We will support you in your future and staff help you to apply for College courses for the following year. Assessment: You will gain a qualification in ESOL, assessed by exam. You may be able to take your exam early and progress to a second level within one year.
