Full Time A Levels: Students choose 3 subjects from our A Level list. In year one students study at AS Level & in year two students study at A2 Level. To progress to A2 study for any subject, you must achieve grade D or above at AS Level. A Level qualifications are changing in response to the government's guidelines for A Level reform. We now offer a selection of A Levels assessed by examination at the end of two years of study. 50% of our A Levels still offer AS & A2 options: An AS Level is half a full A Level; the second part of the A Level is called A2. AS & A2 each make up 50% of the full A Level. Unsure which subjects to choose? Don't worry! You can try out your chosen subjects during the first three weeks of term before committing to your final choices. For International students, entrance to UK universities normally requires 3 A Level subjects studied over two years' time. Stratford-upon-Avon College offers additional 7 hours a week of English study & a one hour tutorial per week to international students.
