Building Craft Occupations (Level 1 Certificate)

This course will give you the skills needed to progress to a higher level of training in either Carpentry, Plastering, Bricklaying or Painting and Decorating. The initial first twelve weeks consists of an Introduction to the Building Craft Occupations course, where you will gain a college certificate. Subjects include: Know how to apply finishing material; Know how to cut, lay and fix construction components; Know how to handle and store construction materials; Know how to mix construction materials; Know how to set out for construction components; Functional Skills in English and Maths.
