GCSE Maths Foundation Tier

A good grasp of basic mathematical concepts and techniques is essential to support work in a whole range of other courses. A GCSE grade C is a requirement for many careers in employment and for most Further/Higher Education courses.Students will follow the AQA linear (B) Mathematics 4365 course, except for the November resit which is the same exam board as previously taken by the student. This will be studied for up to four lessons per week for the year. Paper 1 is non calculator (40%), Paper 2 is a calculator paper (60%). Students have the opportunity to resit in November and if successful will finish the course.
