Animal Care & Management Advanced

This course is designed for anyone wanting to pursue a career in animal care and management. You will develop your knowledge of the animal industry and gain hands-on practical skills. The college has a wide range of animals such as wallabies, reptiles, chickens, ferrets and goats. You will study a range of animal-related topics such as: Health & Welfare Biology Nutrition & Feeding Behaviour & Communication Rehabilitation & Conservation Breeding & Genetics Practical animal handling and husbandry You will also cover units on working within the animal sector such as pet shop management. Work experience and employability skills are an important part of this course.
