Come and learn how to make beautiful silver jewellery for both everyday and special occasion wear, for yourself and to give as gifts. This course is for those at improvers level, who already have some experience, and those who wish to work on their own projects. To learn a set of jewellery skills that will enable you to design and make your own jewellery. Learning about, and experimenting with, sheet metal and wire, and using a variety of jewellery tools. This course will be based around students working on their own projects. These can be discussed and decided on together with the tutor, and specific lessons can be provided, when required, to impart the skills needed to complete the projects.Please note there are extra costs involved to purchase tools and materials for this course - please see the section on Materials required, and contact the tutor, Myles Waterman, in advance if you wish to discuss these extra costs before the course starts.

Entry requirements

Please note that the cost of materials and tools has NOT been included in the course fee and there will be some essential materials to be purchased for this courseThe tutor will introduce you to these on the first night. The tutor will also explain the cost of the metal; he will be able to take orders for, and sell pre-prepared packs to students. An estimated guideline to costs, to cover all the basic materials needed for the course including silver sheet and wire, will be approximately 55, payable direct to the tutor.
