The GCSE Science A course is spilt into the 3 main areas of Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Each of these are broken down further to cover a wide range of scientific concepts and their applications in everyday life. All students, regardless of ability, to gain a good grounding in Science and who want to gain a single GCSE in Science. Science is about discovering and increasing our understanding of how the physical world works. Science uses observation and experimentation of natural phenomena to collect and analyse information to explain how things work.
