GCSE Science is an important qualification for entry to many careers including nursing, teaching and for entry to the Access to Healthcare Professions Diploma at Blackburn College.What equipment will I need?All GCSE students will require a pad of A4 wide-lined paper, a file to keep their work in, plastic wallets and dividers to keep their files organised. You should also bring pens and a highlighter pen to class.All other equipment, including textbooks and access to our online learning resources, Kerboodle, is included in the £20 materials fee.What do I need to bring to enrol?On enrolment day, you will sit an assessment to check you are ready for study at this level. You do not need to bring anything for this assessment. You should bring any fees you will be paying (including the £20 materials fee) and, if you are eligible, you should bring proof of benefits. If you are on a low household income and wish to find out how much of the fee we may be able to help with, please call us as soon as possible so that your enrollment will not be delayed.Please note: we are unable to reserve places on this course.
