With the ever developing technical demands on learners, parent and carers need to feel assured that they are helping towards providing a safe, up to date and developmental environment. This short course is designed to explore some methods of parental control for the safe use of computers and the internet. These ideas could be adopted and applied, without impacting on the learner's developmental and educational needs. The class will be an open discussion forum, targeting security issues faced on a daily basis
