Students love this exciting and interactive two-year media course. It covers the practical skills required to work in the digital, web, television, games, animation, video, radio and film industries as well as core theoretical knowledge. The programme combines practise and theory to develop exciting creative skills using high specification Apple Mac computers and industry standard software. You will work on film, 2D and 3D graphics, 2D traditional animation, 3D digital animation, print design, web design, mobile design, games design and interactive media. Software used includes Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Flash, After Effects, Premiere, Unity, IPsoft Motion Capture for xBox Kinect and Maya. You will also learn video camera techniques. Assignments are practical and employer-led. Industry links are made through visits and guest speakers.
