Develop your practical salon skills and learn more about the principles of hairdressing. Your tutors are professionals with qualifications and experience in the hairdressing industry. They will help you to practice your new skills on each other; training heads and with clients in our newly built salons which are open to the general public as well as staff and students. The necessary skills for this qualification will be taught though a variety of situations; in a commercial salon; input sessions and through theory lessons. This is a demanding course; and home study will also be an integral part of your work. All students will undertake a functional skills qualification alongside their programme and it may be possible to take an additional unit in beauty; hair or barbering to enhance your work.
