The sessions will include a range of activities including: presentation and discussion of theory; self-awareness & development; acquisition of listening and counselling skills. A weekly journal will need to be kept to record progress on the course. There will also be written assignments and some reading additional to the course will be required. The assignments and work generated in the group sessions will make up the portfolio of evidence on which you be assessed. There will also be an assessed practical counselling session.
