This course is for anyone who has an interest in exploring textile techniques, whether a novice or with some experience. It will cover batik, heat transfer, applique and embroidery. After producing samples of the techniques the student will be able to design their own project focusing on the techniques of their choice. Projects could include cushions, wall mounted pieces, quilts, bags and simple garments. Finishing and mounting techniques can also be considered.
