Further Mathematics extends the areas of Pure Maths, Decision Maths and Statistics taught in the main Maths course, and also includes the area of Mechanics. It challenges students beyond their A-level Maths course and refines skills they have already mastered; students learn to apply these skills more effectively to problem solving of a higher degree
