LLDD ICT - DIGITAL LITERACY SKILLS FIRST STEPS

This course is designed so that learners will be able to operate a computer and be able to use a mouse and also understand the keyboard. Several programmes will be used and learners will save and print their files. Build Up tasks will be given to the learner with handouts to reinforce knowledge. All learners will proceed through the work at their own pace and build up their abilities/skills at a comfortable speed. The course will include opening and closing programmes, creating simple letters, editing documents,file management and understanding the Windows desktop. This course is an ideal start to becoming computer literate and a route on to other ICT courses.
