A sample sized pencil pleat curtain will be made which will include all the techniques required to make full sized curtains. You will learn how to:- • Measure windows • Calculate fabric quantities - including drops and widths • Square off and cut fabrics • Insert linings • Join widths together - including pattern matching • Construct a curtain sample with mitred corners and weighted hems • Choose and attach the correct pencil pleat heading tape for the desired effect • Hang and dress curtains
