WATERCOLOUR FOR ALL ABILITIES is primarily an introductory course in watercolour painting enabling beginners and those with some experience, to sample and develop their skills in this 'most challenging of painting mediums for an artist to work with' (David Hockney; in The Times: April 16, 2007). This course introduces beginners to the medium of watercolour and further develops the use of this medium for those learners with previous experience. With the support of the tutor, beginners will explore different techniques and gain knowledge about the characteristics of the paint and experienced learners will use their previous skills and knowledge to develop their own work.
