This course is ideal for those with some experience of Sugarcraft and using flower paste and wish to develop their knowledge and skills further in making sugar flowers. On this course we will be making a selection of spring flowers from the following list - Primroses, Violets, Iris, Bull Rush, Narcissi, Pussy Willow, Snowdrops, Ranunculas, Anemone, Cherry Blossom, Freesia, Camellia, Magnolia, Eucalyptus, Ruscus and Calla Lilly. You will learn how to make a selection of sugar flower and leaves using wires, cutters, Mexican hat method and veiners. How to pre colour flower paste and how to dust using edible petal dust to create depth to hence your flowers and foliage. How to tape up and assemble each flower and leave stem, step by step and arrange in a suitable display vessel.
