This beginners course aims to introduce students to a number of areas in Psychology, including the concept of 'self', the importance of beliefs and values, the impact of gender differences on male-female relationships and the criticality of attachments to child development. It is for anyone interested in finding out more about themselves and others and/or those considering academic study in Psychology. All the Psychology courses are highly interactive and aim to engage participants at a practical level. Whilst they are intended to be enjoyable, the theories on which the sessions are based are academically robust and include both long-standing concepts as well as cutting-edge thinking.
