F810 - The BTEC Subsidiary Diploma qualification is for students who wish to pursue careers in the technical side of the construction industry. The course consists of six units: Health, Safety and Welfare in Construction and the Built Environment Sustainable Construction Mathematics in Construction and the Built Environment Science and Materials in Construction and the Built Environment Construction Technology and Design in Construction and Civil Engineering Building Technology in Construction Successful completion of the Subsidiary level 3 Diploma will enable students to progress in the first instance onto year two of Btec Level 3 Diploma in Construction and the Built Environment or for mature students returning to education and using this qualification as a bridge course they can progress to HNC/HND programmes in Construction.
