D260 - The City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma in System Support course is designed for learners who wish to study within the technology sector, and to improve job prospects in ICT related fields. Learners will not only be equipped with the skills & knowledge to succeed in an ever changing ICT environment, through completion of this course a strong emphasis is placed on enhancement of providing additional skills for life. The course covers the following subjects: Maintain ICT equipment and systems Customer support provision Install and configure ICT equipment and operating systems Testing ICT Systems Upon successful completion you could progress to a level 3 Course: C&G L3 Diploma in System Support - 1 year GCE in Applied ICT (Double Award) - 2 years with UCAS points C&G Level 3 for IT Users (ITQ) - 1 year Learners will be able to feel confident in their use of ICT in a variety of roles whether in administration to catering, design to management, NHS to warehousing.
