The course is suitable for you if you have a particular interest or are considering a career in the Creative Media Industries including: Journalism, Photography/Photo-journalism, Copy/Media Writing, Graphic and Web Design, Production Management and Marketing. You will gain hands-on experience in a variety of activities, such as graphic design, photography, magazine and comic book design, as well as planning and producing a website and animations (2D). You will use industry standard hardware and software in order to design a series of creative products that will be displayed in a final portfolio. You will also have the opportunity to study: Advertising and marketing Research techniques Production management On successful completion of this course you could go on to: Employment: This course can form the foundations for future study and work in a variety of industries including graphic design, website production, advertising and marketing, journalism, games design, plus many more. Education: This Extended Diploma allows you to pick from a wide range of Higher Education courses.
