The Level 1 Introductory Diploma in Music and Performing Arts endeavours to provide you with an introduction to music, performing and production arts, encouraging re-engagement with education and the skills and understanding to progress to further education or employment within the creative industries. The Introductory Diploma provides a hands on experience of all aspects of performing, from music performance to developing acting and dance skills. You will learn about working in the performing arts industry and what skills are needed to be successful. There will be lots of opportunities to put on performances and showcase your work as both a solo performer and as a member of a group. Upon successful completion of the Level 1 Introductory Diploma you can progress onto a Level 2 course in either Performing Arts or Music, from this you can move through the levels right up to gaining a degree in Music or Performing Arts at our University Campus. We aim to provide a varied range of workshops and activities, giving you the opportunity to develop new interests, improve knowledge and boost self-confidence.
