This course is intended to give you an insight into the world of the working musician, and it therefore requires a high degree of dedication and commitment. Live solo and band performances involve a large amount of assessed work and necessitate high attendance and advanced teamwork skills. The programme will also teach you how to make a living as a freelance musician, providing you with guidance and information on how the music industry and the wider creative industries work. Students are required to actively participate in performances at live public events, often outside of the usual college hours.
