This programme will teach you what it takes to become a fitness instructor. As a student on the course, you will work on both the practical and theoretical knowledge that is required of you to work in a gym or deliver group exercise classes. You will also complete two theory exams on anatomy and physiology as well as various principles of exercise and fitness. During the programme you will complete specific units including: Health and Safety in a Fitness Environment; Working with Clients and Helping Them to Adhere to Exercise; and Planning, Delivering and Evaluating Exercise Sessions when Working with Individuals or Groups.
