During your time with us you will learn how to present a professional image, as well as polish your customer service, reception and team working skills. You will also study functional skills in mathematics and English as part of the course. You will work in our salon, developing your creative skills in hairdressing, applying temporary colour, shampooing and conditioning hair and thinking of new ways to display retail stock. You will also learn about the theoretical and practical aspects of beauty therapy, including understanding risks to health and safety and developing practical skills in basic manicure, basic pedicure, nail art, skincare and photographic make-up techniques.
