BTEC L3 Dip 90 in Creative Media Production

This is an exciting course if you want to work in the print-based media industry - as a journalist, designer or photographer. You will develop the right skills base and a broad portfolio of print based media products which are all focused around project based assignments. This will include producing newspaper or magazine articles and designs alongside practical workshops in photography skills. You will also develop a core knowledge and understanding of the print-based media industries including pre-production and research techniques. The media department also runs subject relevant study trips and sessions with guest speakers from the media industry to support your studies. This qualification needs strong written and presentation skills. You need to be creative, with the ability to visually and verbally communicate ideas in an interesting and original way. You are expected to be dedicated, meet all deadlines and have exemplary attendance and punctuality. This course is hard work and challenging, deadlines must always be met, units must be passed. It is also creative, fun and very rewarding.
