GCSE Mathematics is available at either Foundation (up to and including grade C) or Higher Tier (grades A* to B), the latter of which is necessary for students wishing to study A Level/Level 3 Science.The course is divided into four units: numbers, including fractions, decimals and percentages; algebra, including graphs, inequalities and equations; shape, space and measure, including geometry, the Pythagoras theorem, trigonometry, transformations and metric and imperial units; and handling data, including questionnaires, histograms, cumulative frequency, averages and probability.You should already have achieved GCSE Maths at grade D or above. To be accepted on the course you must attend one of our information and assessment sessions where you will be asked to take a short evaluation test in order for us to assess the appropriate level for you. Enrolment will take place after assessment
