Massage CertificateThis one year course involving the study of anatomy and physiology and full Swedish body massage, related massage theory equivalent to Level 3 practitioner standard. - Intensive home study programme - 6-8 hours a week - Practical body massage and background theory - Business practice * - Health and safety legislation* - Anatomy and physiology relating to body massage - Work packs and handouts are provided as part of the course - Qualification is based on continual assessments and this will be awarded after practical assessments, written papers and assignments are complete - There are a written, oral and practical assessments. - Mandatory quality sampling by awarding body on a set date maximum of twice per year* This will be covered in an assignment and written exam set by the awarding body by independent assessmentUpon suitability throughout the interview. Must have caring nature, mature attitude, committed, self-motivated, impeccable appearance and sound educational background with an interest in human biology.GCSE Grade C in English or relevant experience in other fields e.g. nursing, sportsAn excellent college/work record.
