Medicinal herbs

Herbs have been used in healing for centuries. Explore their historic and current uses in orthodox and alternative traditions, drawing on manuscripts and early publications. Gain practical skills in identifying herbs. This course includes two offsite visits on Fridays 27 Jan and 3 Feb from 14:00 to 16:30 to Chelsea Physic Garden and the Wellcome Library to see a range of manuscripts and early herbals on medicinal plants. Course fees do not include entry fees.
