Political biography reading group: European history 1750-1900

Through discussion of selected biographies we will explore in depth key individuals in European history, their legacy and the era in which they lived. The first class will discuss Ruth Scurr's (2007) Fatal Purity: Robespierre and the French Revolution. Please read the full course outline below for more details.
