This is a one year course that will enable you to take the GCSE exam in June 2017. The course culminates in formal exams: Reading of texts (50%), Creative Writing (20%) and Persuasive/Transactional Writing (20%). It is also necessary to give a presentation or speech. You will be given regular homework and you will need to do this homework in order for class work to make sense for you and to prepare for the exams. The course requires you to be organised.
