Whether you are a complete beginner or know a little bit about sewing, this course will equip you with a range of skills and techniques to give you the confidence to start your own sewing projects. The main objective of this course is to become familiar with a sewing machine, learn a range of techniques for different uses and know how to make small items easily. For those with a sewing machine, you are welcome to bring in your own, although there are sewing machines available. You will be taught by practical demonstrations with handouts. You will learn basic sewing techniques to build on what you already know, or teach you from scratch.
