This course is for parents of key stage two children and will guide you through the teaching methods, terminology and grades used in schools today. Find out how your child is assessed, identify areas where they may be struggling and get some tips on how you can help your child to improve. You can brush up your own skills at the same time! Bring a note book and pen if you have one, all materials provided. You and your tutor will set some learning goals for you to aim for. You will assess these together as the course progresses to see how you are getting on. You can try a maths or English course, you might like to aim for a qualification if you are ready. There are lots of courses available that can help you to improve your own skills including courses to help you get ready to return to work.
