The Level 1 Certificate in Business and Administration meet the needs of candidates who work or want to work in an administrative support role. Suitable for the young or adult learner this foundation learning qualification covers essential skills and knowledge related to working in a business environment which can be transferred to any type of organisation and industry. The level 1 Certificate builds on these skills and provides the candidate with broader opportunities to develop wider skills such as using e-mail and word processing. Units achieved within this qualification can contribute to the Level 2 Award/ Certificate/Diploma in Business and Administration and so provide the candidate with a focussed progression route. Alternatively the candidate can pursue a more specialist administrative route through other qualifications.
