Taken as a separate unit alongside AS/A Level Mathematics with statistics, this course develops a range of more advanced topics in pure mathematics such as matrices, complex numbers and proof by induction as well as more advanced topics in mechanics and statistics. This course will both widen and deepen your knowledge and understanding of the mathematical world. It extends your experience of using mathematics to model real life situations and will put you at a distinct advantage when applying for both Mathematics and Engineering Degree courses.
