Topics covered will provide you with the basic essentials for a trip to a French speaking country, using a limited range of simple utterances and basic correct grammar. By the end of the course, you will be able to take part in basic exchanges, using a limited range of words and expressions and basic correct grammatical structures sufficient for survival in the target country in tourist and everyday situations, such as using greetings and exchanging basic information about yourself, recognise numbers and perform basic calculations including using money, tell the time and the date, order food and drinks and shop for basic items, follow directions, and participate in very short dialogues about everyday subjects (the weather, food and drinks, travel and directions and hobbies).
