Website Design & Creation - Introduction (Intensive)

This course is designed for those of you who aspire to being web designers or would like to learn the skills to produce your own website by producing webpages from scratch. So if you want an intensive course to help develop your career or simply promote your ideas and interests using a website this a course for you. The software you will use is Adobe Dreamweaver CC, one of the most popular web design packages used by many professionals to create commercial websites. This 2 week intensive course introduces you to the principles of web design as well as using the basic technical skills to get started with producing a website. The topics covered are: • Domain names and hosting (uploading) a website • An introduction to the NEW HTML 5 programming language • Introduction to Dreamweaver and it's environment • Layout and create a simple web page structure • Add images and text to a webpage • Create links to email and linking web pages • Learn how to style a webpage in CSS (styling language) • Using the home page as a template
