History of Western Philosophy - From Descartes to Kant

This course will introduce definitions of art, artists and human perception in philosophy and art theoryExplore the philosophy and psychology of the creative eye. In looking at the codes and conventions of representation in the fine arts this course will provide a foundation for the understanding a wide range of aesthetic theories and their implications for philosophy in general.
