This course will provide an introduction to the ideas, controversies and techniques of analysis which developed during one of the most exciting periods in British Philosophy.This course will provide an introduction to the ideas, controversies and techniques of analysis which developed during one of the most exciting periods in British Philosophy. Topics to be discussed include the hidden logic of expressions, the implications of different linguistic frameworks, and the philosophical significance of ordinary language. Philosophers whose work will studied include Russell, Wittgenstein, Ayer, Austin, Moore and PF Strawson
