GCSE English Language

UPDATED 20160725 10:23:25

GCSEs are highly valued by schools, colleges and employers and are vital for studying Access programmes for entry into university. We offer you the chance to achieve your GCSE English qualification in an adult class via an intensive nine-month course. GCSE English is free to learners on the condition you do not already have a C grade. Courses run weekly, starting in September and November and take place over a choice of evening or morning classes. All courses require you to attend scheduled weekly sessions and to work toward your targets. Before you enrol, you will have an assessment and an interview with one of our tutors who will determine whether GCSE English is suitable for you. The course will include the development of skills such as: • Speaking and Listening • Reading and analysis of fiction and non-fiction • Writing to evaluate the methods writers use to engage readers
