This is a City & Guilds accredited course designed for beginners who wishes to acquire and develop a range of creative photographic skills and professional techniques. You will need to have a camera that allows manual control of settings such as shutter, aperture and ISO. Access to image editing software would also be an advantage. Learners should be aware they are required to submit a portfolio of work and accompanying written evidence at the end of the course. It is now a government requirement that all learnes wishing to undertake a qualification have to sit an assessment in English and Maths prior to enrolment on the course. During this session for which there is no charge the tutor will also go through the syllabus and explain in detail the requirements of the course.
