The aim of this qualification is to prepare learners to work with children aged between birth and five years, with knowledge of children up to seven years. Learners will need to be working, volunteeringor on a practical placement as an importantpart of the assessment process involvesevaluating skills in real working situations. CACHE recommends 250 placement hours.
