This course is suitable for learners who want to develop the knowledge and skills required to work as part of the wider school workforce. It will cover how schools are organised and managed; key legislation, policies and procedures that schools must implement e.g. safeguarding, inclusion, health and safety and stages of child development and its affect on learning. You will need to work or volunteer in a schools for a minimum of 100 hours over the period of the course. You will work towards the OCR level 2 Certificate in Supporting the Wider Curriculum in Schools. This involves compiling a portfolio of evidence which will be internally assessed and externally verified. All fees include the cost of the accreditation. These courses require you to book an assessment.
