Film Studies gives you an opportunity to learn about American, British and world Cinema. It will involve the study of film form, editing, cinema audiences, historical and cultural values, and film production. You will have opportunities to visit film and TV studios. You will also learn about production values and the messages being communicated, how films are marketed and advertised, distributed and screened. This may involve exploring print and film adverts, articles, blogs, celebrity appearances as well as other marketing strategies.
