Students will complete 200 placement hours in a nursery or school setting as part of this course, working with children up to the age of five. There may also be an opportunity for a placement of the student choosing, undertaken with an older age group or in a special needs setting. Course outline This course aims to prepare learners to work competently under supervision in a variety of childcare settings. Course content The Level 2 course will comprise 17 units covering fundamental aspects of childcare and education.
