Beauty Therapy (Extended Programme) NVQ Level 2

The course covers a range of practical skills and relevant theoretical knowledge. The student will be thoroughly prepared to enter the Beauty Therapy Industry. Continuing development of Functional Skills is an integral part of this course. Students should allocate approximately 10 hours per week for home study to support this course. The facilities available on site are of an excellent standard. COURSE CONTENT Theory and practice of all aspects of Beauty Therapy Treatments: 1. Facials 2. Make Up 3. Eye Treatments 4. Waxing 5. Manicure & Pedicure 6. Relevant Anatomy and Physiology 7. Employment Standards for Salon Administration and Practice (Subject to VTCT amendments). ENGLISH AND MATHEMATICS We are committed to helping students improve their skills in English and Maths. Students on a full-time course at College who missed out on GCSE qualifications at Grades A-C in these subjects at school will attend additional classes and receive support to enhance their grades. Depending on individual ability, students will work towards GCSE, City & Guilds or Functional Skills Awards to ensure that they have the qualifications needed to progress to University or employment.

Kit & Uniform £266.00 (approx) payable at beginning of course. This includes trips and workshops relevant to the course, students can apply to the Learner/Adult Support Fund if financial assistance is required or pay in instalments.
